Is your service confidential?
Silverside Financial Services Ltd adheres to Data Protection. We ask all clients to sign a data protection statement. We do not sell our database to third parties. We obviously have to take personal details in order to correctly assess your financial needs and to submit applications for you – these will of course be treated confidentially.
If I make an appointment, is there a charge?
We hold an initial appointment to assess your financial planning needs, which is free of charge. At this appointment, you will be provided with a document known as our “Menu”, which breaks down the various fee structures which can be chosen should you decide that you wish Silverside Financial Services to carry out work on your behalf and we place business for you. This can range from us being paid by commission by the insurer, you paying us a fee as a percentage of the overall sum, or a combination of both. For all types of mortgage, we do charge a non-refundable administration fee of £55 upon application.
